Guangzhou GRG Metrology &Test co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as GRGT) is a nationwide, comprehensive, military and civil, state-owned third-party metrology and test organization. It is engaged in measurement, metrology, test, certificate service, experimental analysis, design and rectification consultation, scientific research and development, as well as the preparation of standards and specifications. It is at the leading level in the fields such as measurement and calibration, reliability and environment test, electromagnetic compatibility in China.
GRGT started its measure and test work in 1964. Its former was the Military and Electronic Metrology and Test Station 602, Ministry of Information Industry. It has passed CNAS, DILAC, Military Laboratory Accreditation of General Armament Department, and achieved China Inspection Body and Laboratory Mandatory Approval and the certificate GJB9001B quality system. It is a weaponry manufacturer, a second-level secret unit, the test laboratory of Sanpinyibiao of Ministry of Agriculture, the test laboratory recommended for National Soil Pollution Survey, China CB laboratory, and has been accredited and authorized by several internationally well-known institutions and organizations. Its measurement and certification results are recognized internationally.
As a key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Plan, the demonstration platform for small and medium-sized enterprises, the technological basis public service platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information, the quality of hope – excellent technological institution, the famous trademark of Guangdong Province, the excellent enterprise of Guangdong Province, the excellent intellectual property enterprise of Guangdong Province, GRGT has the metrology and test branch of National Enterprise Technical Center, the test platform of Beidou satellite navigation products, the academician and expert enterprise workstation of Guangdong Province, the engineering and technological research center of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Key Laboratory for Transport Package Measurement. It provides one-stop whole technical solutions for several industries with perfect qualification, complete technical capacity, high-quality service assurance, and authoritative credibility and convenient service network nationwide. GRGT has established comprehensive laboratories nationwide, with the total area of laboratories over 120,000 m2, equipped with more than 12000 sets of advanced equipment and instruments purchased from domestic and oversea manufacturers, and build an integrative nationwide public service platform of metrology and authentication technology.
TCurrently, GRGT has near 3000 staff. It has cultured a professional technical team with experts and cadres as the core. The team consists of over 50 experts and technology leaders, over 200 members with intermediate or senior professional title, over 20 with the degree of post-doctor and doctor, and over 212 with the degree of master.
GRGT has established a technology institute to increase the investment in technology research and development. GRGT has won 28 patents for invention, 115 patents for utility models and 18 design patents. GRGT has hosted and taken part in the preparation of several industrial and local standards on metrology and test and filled in gaps of metrology and test technique application in many fields in China.
GRGT has completed its national strategic layout and built 20 test centers and 34 branches across the country. Its service assurance network has covered the whole country.
